Their debut full length had been long awaited since Harsh Realm, Widowspeak's first physical appearance, was out from Captured Tracks in early 2011. Of course it was impossible for me to have any chances to see them playing in Japan, but you can watch it on YouTube wherever you are. Harsh Realm sounds simple but incredibly dramatic. Now their self titled LP is on my turntable sounding amazing. Every song on it seems to tell me how beautiful and wonderful life is. My life is slightly boring but Widowspeak might prevent me from such stupid thoughts.
